Family sessions are so very special! My goal when photographing your family session is to document the love and connection you have with each other. These sessions can be done in studio or at an outdoor location.
Family sessions take place at my commercial Lansdale studio or one of the outdoor locations I have hand picked for the best locations! We will take a variety of poses both candid and posed so I can provide you with a great variety in your images! Sessions start about 1-2 hours before sunset for that dreamy golden light!

I cannot say enough good things about our newborn photoshoot experience with Laura! Our son was born in January and we decided at the last minute that we wanted newborn photos. Within one day of reaching out to her, we had a session booked the following week and a packet of information to help prepare us for the big day!

The Process
Let's do this
We've chatted and you feel we're a great fit, yay I'm so excited! The next step is to get you on my calendar! Maternity sessions are ideal between 28-35 weeks pregnant in most cases. Next up, I'll send you my availability as well as the contract and invoice for the retainer!
Lastly, I'll send you a questionnaire and this is where the fun planning begins! I also send a Client Experience Guide. My clients love this detailed guide, it talks about everything from wardrobe to walking you through the entire process from pre session, what to expect during the session and reminders of what you can expect after!

After you've submitted the questionnaire, I take over from there! I'll be busy planning all the things in relation to your session!
My Session Experience Guide will most likely answer most, if not all of your questions. However, I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have along the way! Shoot me an email or ask me to give you a call!
I have a client closet with maternity dresses that range from size small to XL that I'll be sending you to view. However, you're more than welcome to provide your outfit as well and I'm happy to help you plan it out!
Keeping In Touch
Step 3 of 5
Finally, today is the day! I always suggest on session day, to make a day of it! Pamper yourself with a full makeover before your session and make sure your hair is just how you like it! Whatever makes you feel like your most happy and beautiful self, do it up! This is a wonderful way to relax, so treat yourself and make the whole day an experience!
If you're coming with a significant other or older children, we get everyone involved! I'll be guiding you through a series of poses with prompts to capture a wide variety of images for you to choose from. We will be using two different backdrops and you have the option to wear up to 3 outfits during the session. The session will last up to an hour, so I'll have plenty of time to create a wide variety for you to choose from!

In about 5 business days, your online proofing gallery will be on its way to your email! This will be a private gallery where you'll review the best images of the day! You can expect to see about 40 images. At that time, you will pick which collection of images you would like to purchase!
Once I receive your order, I will then finish editing the images you selected and send you a new gallery with your high resolution files that have all been hand edited. All of my collections include print credit, so at this time you can view my shop and see what artwork you would like to purchase!

THE SESSION
I offer a client closet for moms and certain baby sized clothes. I also offer a Client Experience Guide so that you can plan your family's outfits! I hear often that this is the most stressful part, so I do everything I can to make this as easy as possible!
WHAT TO WEAR
Every collection I offer includes digital images. However, your images will be far too beautiful to stay on your computer! I'm incredibly passionate about the products I offer, which is why I include complimentary print credit with every collection! I offer custom albums, prints, wall art and so much more! I even offer gifts that the grandparents will love!

My process is simple, within 5 days of your session, you’ll receive an online proofing gallery. You can view your images from the comfort of your own home. In your gallery, you’ll see at least 40 of the best images of the day! You are now ready to purchase your images! You pick your collection from 15, 25 or all images. I then finish my editing process on the images you selected and return your gallery to you within 15 business days!
Sessions typically last up to an hour so I can provide you with a variety of poses with at least 40 images to choose from.
Maternity sessions take place at my Lansdale studio or at an outdoor location one hour before sunset. If you like a more candid and outdoor/scenic feel, I suggest an outdoor session. For a more intimate, cozy and glamorous look I suggest the studio. If you’re not sure, that’s okay! We can talk more in detail and pick the best location for you!
This thought crosses every single parent's mind when booking a session. Trust me, I get it! You’re paying good money for these pictures and you just want nice photographs of your sweet family! I want to say this, of all the things to worry about, this should be last. I do send a detailed session preparation guide with some helpful tips and tricks. However, I am not here to photograph your Pinterest perfect family. I’m here to document your kids in this season of life (as chaotic as it may be!) I encourage you to let your kids be who they are. I’ve got lots of tips and tricks up my sleeve and we will try them all! I just want you to show up and be present, let me handle the rest!
